I am from South Africa and been living in Dubai for the last 5 years. My family moved to Dubai 18 years ago and I was at school for 1 year in Dubai until I left back to South Africa to finish my schooling and university. I started with teaching kids how to swim 10 years ago and enjoyed the teaching part of it so when I came to Dubai I wanted to find something related to teaching sport. I became a teacher as it is a very fulfilling job when the kids finally understand something or learn how to do a certain skill. I enjoy being around kids and passing on my knowledge to them so they can go away and use it.
My big passion at the moment is triathlon which I have been pursuing for the last 7 years, 4 of which I have been very competitive. I have a big interest in most sports and activities. I love an adventure and trying something new with new groups of people.
I completed a bachelor of commerce in South Africa
I have a diploma is sound engineering and music production
I did my PGCE 2 years ago
I have been a fully qualified first aider and lifeguard for 5 years
