Hello! I am really excited to be joining Safa Community School for the upcoming academic year. I look forward to welcoming them to my class!

About Me

My main interests are keeping active by running, playing football and tennis. Also, in recent years I have taken up my childhood hobby of kart racing. I am an avid motorsports fan and have been lucky enough to watch F1 races in the UK and across Europe (I hope to add the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to the list soon!). I enjoy travelling and learning about different cultures. My favourite place I have visited is Japan where I hope to return to some day!
I am very grateful for the opportunity to join the Safa team and can’t wait to get started!

My Experience

This upcoming academic year will be my eighth as a primary teacher after I graduated from the University of Wolverhampton with a PGCE in Primary Education with Mathematics. After completing my NQT year in the UK, I moved to Qatar to teach in an international school. During my 4 years there, I gained leadership experience in my role as Head of Year in upper KS2. I then returned to teach in the UK where I have since held various roles such as PE and Personal Development Coordinator and Music Lead. I believe that children should be inspired and nurtured to develop a love of learning. I look forward to meeting you all soon!
