My name is Miss Burns, I am excited to be starting my new role at Safa Community this year. This will be my second year in Dubai which I am thoroughly looking forward to.
I am from the East of England, from a county called Hertfordshire and have been a qualified teacher for the past 6 years with my main sports being netball and trampolining. Having lived in Dubai for the past year, I have loved every moment of it, especially becoming part of the netball community.
After graduating from the University of Bedfordshire and gaining a QTS in Physical Education I went on to teach for 5 years in the UK. Whilst in the UK I was Head of Extra Curricular Activities and Girls Participation in Sport. Most recently, I have worked a year in Dubai where I have enjoyed immersing myself into the culture and lifestyle.
