I am an Early Year’s enthusiast and have a great passion for teaching this wonderful age group. I am from Nottingham in England, UK and this will be my 8th year living in Dubai and working at the wonderful Safa Community School. I love living in Dubai and enjoy meeting people from different places across the world.
Outside the classroom, I lead an active lifestyle. I like going to the gym and cycling, as well as reading books on my kindle at the beach and socialising with family and friends. Travelling is a keen hobby of mine, I have an interest in learning all about the beautiful countries, cultures and habitats this world has to offer.
I have been teaching in the Early Years for 11 incredible years. I have previously worked as Head of EYFS, EYFS Safeguarding Lead, FS1 Lead, Wellbeing Lead and classroom teacher across the Foundation Stage. I have a true passion for scaffolding learning in 3-5 year olds and this interest stemmed from my undergraduate BA Honours degree in Early Childhood Studies, as well as my PGCE with a specialist focus on 3-7 year olds.
