I was born in Vienna, a stunning city that inspires with both the old and the new, and where there is always a cozy spot in a coffee shop. I am really excited to begin teaching German at Safa Community School and cannot wait to get to know all of the students and parents.
2019 saw my relocation to Dubai, and I can’t think of a better place for me to call home. I adore Dubai’s cultural diversity and its wide range of activities.
I am married and have two very active children; a daughter and son. Every weekend, we spend our time exploring many of the places and activities available here in the UAE. Despite the frequent travel, I make it a point to visit my friends and family in Vienna. I enjoy teaching German and seeing pupils advance in their knowledge and self-assurance. I think that when you speak more than one language, your problem-solving and abstract concept-handling abilities rise, and you develop more positive attitudes and confidence.
I completed my master’s degree at the University of Vienna and afterwards worked there at the University of Applied Sciences, where I instructed students on how to write theses. I moved to Manchester and started teaching German to kids of all ages at language schools. I started working as a German teacher at the Arcadia School when we came to Dubai, and later I transferred to the German International School. I’m now excited to have joined the Safa Community School as a German mother tongue Teacher and be a part of the MFL Program. I’m eager to get to know all the students and to be a part of the purple.
