My name is Namina, a Mathematics teacher & 2ic.
I am a wife and a mum to two beautiful girls aged 12 and 7. I have been living in Dubai for 5 years and it’s the best decision my family and I have made. I speak three languages English, Arabic and French. I enjoy cooking and love exploring different food and cultures. I enjoy basketball and board games.
I have passionately and confidently taught Mathematics for the past 15 years across all stages (KS3 – KS5). I have taught Mathematics for 11 years within an outstanding comprehensive school in the UK, which is part of an academy based in South East London. I currently teach Mathematics at the School of Research Science (Dubai), where I have been strongly committed to the aims, vision and ethos of the school; I have actively participated in school life, as a classroom teacher and provided additional enrichment activities. My teaching philosophy is to create a positive and stimulating learning environment, which enables me to share my passion of the subject. I deliver interesting and relevant lessons that are differentiated, provide challenge and support all students to achieve. I have high expectations of all students and demand exemplary attitudes towards learning, balanced with humour and empathy.
