My name is Paul Dallyn and I am originally from Bournemouth in the United Kingdom and have lived in the UAE since 2017. I have responsibility for the quality of teaching and learning from FS to Year 13.
I am deeply passionate about education and believe we are in a privileged position to support the personal and academic growth of students. My own education philosophy resonates with Michelangelo who states: ‘The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark’ On a personal level, I am a keen sportsman and enjoy playing golf and regularly attend the gym. Aside from my sporting interest my daughter Millie keeps me exceptionally busy and attained!
Previously in Education, I was Vice Principal in Dubai, Head of Secondary in Abu Dhabi and Assistant Principal in an Outstanding school in the UK. I hold the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) from University College London and am a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching (FCCT). Prior to Senior Leadership, I was a Head of Sixth Form, Head of Department and Teacher of Physical Education having graduated from University College Chichester in 2005.
