My Safa Community School journey started when I became a teaching assistant in March 2023. Whilst I really enjoyed this role and working in the classroom I find that working in reception better fits my previous work experience. I really enjoy being a part of the wider school community and assisting our parents and children with whatever needs they have.
I have lived in Dubai with my family since August 2022. We reolcated from a small town in the North West of England. I have two children at Safa Community School, one in secondary and one in primary. As a family we have been proud to be purple since day one.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new places and making new memories. I have a passion for baking, and making sweets treats for my family and friends to enjoy.
Back in the UK I had worked in the Financial Services industry for over 16 years. Whilst the Education sector is vastly different from what I am used to I believe the skills that I have built up over the years have been easily transferred to my new role and I look forward to contributing to the continued success of Safa Community School.
