I am a passionate teacher who loves teaching my subject and being an active member of the school body.
As a professional, I like to keep learning by attending conferences and keeping up-to-date with pedagogical developments. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, learning languages and cooking.
I qualified as a Secondary English teacher with Durham University 12 years ago. Since then, I have worked in 11 – 18 secondary schools in the United Kingdom, UAE and Switzerland. I have taught GCSE, A-level and IB and led two English outstanding departments. I am looking forward to joining the team at Safa.
