My name is Sophie, I’m from England, Hampshire and have lived there most of my life until recently moving to Dubai this year. So far I’m really enjoying my time here and I’m looking forward to what experiences it has to give me.
A little bit about me would be that I’m a very friendly, sociable, and a positive person. I enjoy learning new things, going to the gym working on my fitness, adventuring and spending time with friends and family. I really like animals I have a dog back at home called Louis he’s very cheeky and full of character haha! I enjoy making new friends and exploring new cities and country’s along with the culture of them too.
I have lots of experience within customer service, my first role was working with children ages 2-11 teaching them how to ride ponies and teaching them to understand the basic care. I then went on to being a waitress in a steakhouse then covid hit and I moved to the supermarket due to them still having work available. I started there as a café waitress but I was noticed but the mangers and they saw my potential to be moved through the different roles to eventually promoted to supervisor for the checkouts. I really enjoyed getting to know my staff and working alongside them, we all got on very well and I enjoyed my time there. However, due to studying floristry in college I decided to move into the role that suited my qualifications. Which is my most previous work being at a florist, creating some gorgeous arrangements and bespoke funeral tributes. My creativity really flared there and I enjoyed every second including the very busy periods! I’m looking forward to seeing what Dubai has to offer me, picking up new life skills learning and taking on different experiences.
