Performing Arts Scholarships

Our Performing Arts scholars are deeply committed to creative expression and performance excellence. We look for students who display technical mastery, artistic sensitivity, confidence on stage, and the ability to inspire audiences. Evidence of participation in professional or regional performances, festivals or graded examinations is highly regarded. Scholars should also demonstrate resilience, collaboration and the capacity to balance artistic pursuits with academic expectations.

Examples of skills and qualities we value include strong vocal or instrumental technique, disciplined rehearsal habits, creative originality in choreography or composition, confident stage presence and the ability to collaborate effectively within ensembles or productions.

Please note that supportive evidence must be produced regarding references and audio and visual footage. This must be created in the form of a highlights CV or montage.

Sport Scholarships

Sporting excellence at Safa Community School is measured by achievement and attitude. We seek athletes who train with purpose and compete with integrity. Candidates should demonstrate consistent performance at or representative level and show the potential to develop further with expert coaching and guidance.

We look for attributes such as exceptional skill in a chosen sport, commitment to training schedules, mental resilience under pressure, the capacity to motivate and lead others, and a proven regional or national representation record.

Please note that supportive evidence must be produced regarding references and a history of PBs and records to date. These must be verified through an official timing channel or application.

Leadership Scholarships

Leadership scholars embody the values and ethos of Safa Community School. They are forward-thinking individuals who act with integrity, show initiative, influence others positively, and strongly commit to service within the school community and beyond.

We look for students who display strong communication and organisational skills, the ability to inspire and unite others, emotional intelligence, a record of active participation in community or school initiatives and a willingness to take responsibility and drive improvement.

Academic Scholarships

Academic excellence reflects intellectual curiosity, independent thought and a consistent record of achievement. Our Academic scholars display a passion for inquiry, creativity in problem-solving and a determination to push beyond the expected curriculum. They approach learning with focus, resilience and a desire to contribute meaningfully to their fields of study. We seek students who show outstanding attainment across examinations, academic competitions, and research and/or publications.

The academic scholarship is awarded to those who operate at the highest level, consistently placing them in the top 1% of examination performers. As a working example, students previously on the academic scholarship have attained a full suite of grade 9s across all GCSEs and straight As at A-level.

All applicants must produce verified and attested exam certificates to support their applications. Internal mock results will be used as a guide but not a definitive measure.
