I’m Aine Mannion from the Mathematics Department. I’m Irish and I’m from a place called Galway in the West of Ireland. I graduated from the University of Limerick with a B.Ed in Physical Education and Mathematics in 2015 and I have been teaching since. I moved to the UAE right after qualifying and I haven’t looked back since.
As I’ve mentioned above I’m also a qualified PE teacher and I’ve a huge passion for exercise and Irish team sports called Gaelic Football and Camogie. We travel to other teams around the Middle East and compete against them throughout the year.
I’ve been teaching in the UAE since 2015 and I joined Safa Community school in 2020. I previously taught at a British school in Sharjah before moving to Dubai and starting at Safa Community School. I’m involved in the KS3 Maths homework club and I am part of the Duke of Edinburgh team. I’m involved in the KS3 Maths homework club and I am part of the Duke of Edinburgh team.
