Food Technician
I am so happy to be part of the Food Technology department at Safa Community School. I really enjoy working with the department because I love cooking and I’m a foodie! I love to work with the KS4 and 5 students to help develop their practical skills and prepare them for the GCSE and BTEC assessments.
About Me
I am originally from India, a country that occupies the greater part of South Asia. I hold a Master’s Degree in Computer application so have been able to use these skills to enhance the use of technology within the Food and Nutrition department. I have lived in Dubai for the last 6 years with my husband. I love music and travel and enjoy spending time with my family during the school holidays. A key strength of mine is communication and building solid relationships with the students to help them achieve their fullest potential.
My Experience
Before I joined the Safa family I worked at Kings School Al Barsha from 2018-2021 as a Food Technician. Here at Safa, I work closely with the KS4 and 5 students in Safa Senior School. I help prepare and develop their practical skills in lessons, as well as getting involved with lots of different activities outside the classroom. I really enjoyed the Dubai Inter Schools Competition this year as well as the amazing Masterchef event.
