Hello! I am very excited to start a new school year at Safa Community School. We are going to have an amazing year learning and exploring together. I look forward to getting to know everyone and seeing your lovely faces every day.
I come from a country called Wales where I live by the sea but trips to the beach usually leave me windswept and very cold! Since living in Dubai, I have really loved exploring the UAE and enjoying the beautiful sunshine. In my spare time, I enjoy fun days out with my daughter, going on long walks and trying different types of food.
In 2012, I graduated with a BA in Education studies. I then went on to complete my PGCE to become a primary school teacher. I taught FS1 and FS2 for 5 years in a school in Wales before changing directions to a role out of the classroom. This role allowed me to work more closely with parents and deliver learning programmes to support their child’s development. 2 years ago I had the pleasure of coming back into teaching and I have loved being part of the SCS family.
