My name is Daniele Valentini and I am originally from Rome, the capital of Italy. I was very fortunate to live in the heart of the city so I could enjoy what Rome offers in terms of culture, architecture, food and entertainment. In 2012, I relocated to Dubai, embarking on a new chapter in my life in a global confluence of cultures.
I wanted to be a language teacher because I have a passion for communication and a desire to introduce the younger generation to diverse cultures, while instilling in them a love for language learning. Most of all, I find working with young people to be the most rewarding aspect of teaching. The environment at Safa Community School is both enjoyable and supportive, which is why I am drawn to this amazing school. Building positive connections with my students and witnessing their growth and advancement in language acquisition brings me immense joy. My love for travel is evident in my extensive adventures to more than 45 countries, and my ultimate dream is to explore every corner of the globe.
I have taught for more than 12 years in Dubai and I absolutely love it. In 2012, I graduated from Roma Tre University with a Masters Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures (Spanish and French). After qualification, I moved to the UAE to teach Spanish and Italian to students of all levels and group ages. I was appointed Head of department in a Language Institute where I did my best to ensure the highest levels of student satisfaction. My role included promoting the institute throughout the community by participating in radio interviews and hosting social events where language learners of all ages with diverse backgrounds. In 2017, I was presented a wonderful opportunity to join Safa Community School to teach Spanish. I enjoy using best practice teaching methods along with implementing new technologies and teaching strategies to engage students and diversify approaches to teaching and learning. In my role as the Head of MFL in Primary I take pride in sharing my teaching experiences with my team of dedicated teachers. My aim is that all students become confident, adaptable, and engaged world citizens through their awareness and continual learning about other cultures and languages.
