I am excited and proud to be moving into my ninth year at Safa Community School for the 2024-2025 academic year and moving into the role of Deputy Headteacher of Student Achievement.
During my time at SCS I have been fortunate to have experienced teaching across Key Stage 2 leading in a number of curriculum areas, year groups, as well as Assistant Head of Year 5 and 6. I consider myself to be a very adaptable, approachable and positive person, who loves new challenges. I strive to ensure that every child achieves their full potential, by providing the highest quality of teaching, learning and personalised learning experiences, whilst continuously developing myself professionally.
I have been extremely lucky to have developed my leadership experience at Safa through the position of Assistant Head of Year 5 and 6 for the past three years. As well as this role, I was previously Head of Year 6 and Head of mathematics which allowed me to work closely with staff and students to develop the curriculum across the Primary phase, as well as whole school improvement. These roles have enabled me to expand my leadership skills, which have had a positive impact on both staff and students, from a curriculum and pastoral level. This year I am thrilled to be moving into my new role as Deputy Head of Student achievement and continuing to build on the strong relationships within our community.
