Hello, I am really excited to welcome your child into class 5EE for this new academic year at SCS!
I grew up in Somerset in the UK, and I moved to Dubai in the summer of 2018. I have studied in both Wales and England and graduated with a History and Media Production honours degree. I then went into education, studying for a PGCE in Primary Education. I enjoy a variety of different activities including running, padel and I am an avid golfer. I have a wide range of hobbies and interests but I particularly enjoy writing (novels and screenplays), reading, cooking and travelling to new countries. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and visiting new places.
I have been a teacher now for over 8 years now and have primarily taught in KS2. I have been involved in leading a range of subjects but I particularly enjoy Science and History. I enjoy challenging my students and giving them new experiences. Previously I have led many fantastic opportunities in school such as astronaut and medical school competitions where children got to experience a VR space walk or a heart dissection. I look forward to meeting the class and for an exciting year ahead.
