I graduated from Durham University with a BA in Spanish, Italian and Mathematics. I had several years working in marketing before realising that I wanted to be a primary school teacher and so I did my PostGraduate Certificate in Education at Roehampton University in 2008. It was a great decision and I have never looked back!
I came to Dubai in 2017 with my husband and twins Isabella and Edward, who also attend Safa. Outside of school, I can be found exploring everything that the UAE has to offer or enjoying family trips to the beach and the desert.
I have been teaching at Safa since 2019, and before this I taught in London, UK. I have over a decade of teaching at schools ranging from a small community school to one of the top private schools in London. My main aim is to ensure my class are happy, confident and enthusiastic learners who are keen to take calculated risks in a safe and nurturing environment. This way, they are inspired to take ownership of their learning and feel proactive about challenging themselves.
