Hello! I am thrilled to continue my journey as part of the wonderful Safa family. I cannot wait to meet and work alongside you all, especially everyone in FS2EM!
Hello, my name is Emily Murphy and I am from a town called Tamworth, near Birmingham, in the centre of England. Since living in the UAE, I have loved being able to learn about and experience new cultures, as well as meeting people from all over the world. In my spare time I enjoy exploring new places with my friends and keeping active through going to the gym, water sports and hiking. I have also been a keen skier for as long as I can remember. I have a desire to travel and since moving to Dubai I have had the opportunity to visit many exciting places. I am really looking forward to new challenges, opportunities and fun next year.
I have always had a desire to teach since an early age. I would describe myself as passionate and dedicated to making sure all students have the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Since graduating from the University of Winchester, England, I have had the opportunity to teach across the key stages, in a variety of school settings. During my 4 years in the UAE, I have been lucky enough to gain further classroom experience, as well as roles as Head of Year and Assistant Head of Primary Pastoral. I am looking forward to entering my 10th year of teaching, where I will be dedicated to ensure that our children will have the opportunity to achieve their full potential in a safe, happy, engaging and enjoyable environment. I am excited to meet my new students and families in the next academic year.
