With extensive experience as an Art teacher, I am thrilled to join the Art department at Safa Community, where I hope to become a valuable asset to the school community. I am eager to impart my knowledge and enthusiasm for Art to both students and staff, contributing to the ongoing success of the Arts program at Safa.
Originally from Staffordshire, I spent 20 years in Liverpool before relocating to Dubai. I am married with two energetic young daughters who keep me very busy. My passion for the arts extends beyond the classroom, as I enjoy exploring galleries and exhibitions with loved ones. Embracing travel allows me to immerse myself in diverse cultures, enriching my teaching approach. Additionally, I indulge my hobby of cooking and hosting social events for drained and family. With a positive outlook and boundless motivation, I approach every endeavour with passion.
With 16 years of teaching experience, I bring a wealth of expertise to the role, nurturing students’ artistic talents through engaging projects. My educational background in Fashion and Textiles, coupled with my role as a menswear fashion buyer in Liverpool, provides a multifaceted perspective to my teaching approach. Relocating to Dubai has afforded me invaluable opportunities to interact with students from various cultural backgrounds, enriching my pedagogical insights. I am enthusiastic about infusing the classroom with creativity and fostering a shared passion for the arts.
