Hannah Howard

I have had the opportunity to work across multiple year groups, EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. However I was in awe of the approach to learning within the Early Years, leading me to work within the Foundation Stage for the last six years. My passion for the Early Years continues to grow and will often explore new and creative initiatives to ensure all children reach their full potential! You will regularly see me walking around school sharing the love of EYFS with all staff and parents. In Early Years, I believe the key to success is for both teachers and parents to work as a partnership, in order to create excitement and a love for learning. 

My Leadership journey began in the UK, Leading the whole school PE, EYFS and Key Stage 1 phases. The ability to lead in a variety of contexts allowed me to follow my love for Early Years, becoming a Head of Early Years, supporting multiple schools within the UK. I then moved to Dubai to support my leadership development, becoming a Head of FS2 at an outstanding school, which I was then given the opportunity to become the Head Of Early Years Foundation Stage. Alongside this I have had the opportunity to support schools across Dubai and Oman as part of a School Improvement Team and to work closely within the BSME team to share best practice and support surrounding schools within Dubai. My current role has allowed me to work closely with both teachers and parents, creating that essential partnership for the children to flourish, something I look forward to continuing at SCS.
