My name is Hannah Rix and I am from the South Coast of England. I graduated from Winchester University with a Bachelor in Primary Education in 2008. I am really excited to welcome you and your child to 3HR for the next academic year.
I have been in Dubai since 2015. I have loved having the opportunity to make some amazing friends and explore all the exciting things Dubai has to offer! I am a very active person and love swimming and running so I regularly attend exercise classes. If I’m not outdoors being active I really enjoy getting lost in a good book and spending time with my husband and two children. I enjoy travelling and look forward to travelling home to the South Coast of England to spend time outdoors with my family and friends. I am eager to get started in 3HR and look forward to getting to know both yourselves and the children better.
I have been teaching since 2014 and I’ve been teaching in Year 3 at Safa since 2022. When I left the UK I was an assessment leader and Year group leader in an outstanding school in Portsmouth, Hampshire. Previously in Dubai I taught at another outstanding school and I feel delighted to be part of SCS especially as I see the excitement my daughter has for coming to school each day. I am a passionate teacher and enjoy planning and delivering engaging, fun and memorable lessons. I feel this passion for teaching engages and inspires children to achieve and exceed their potential. I am looking forward to meeting you all as we begin our journey together in Year 3!
