Hello, my name is Jessica Scott and I am very excited for my second year at SCS. I am delighted to have the opportunity to welcome you and your child to 1JS this academic year.
I am from Rotherham, a town in South Yorkshire, England and this will be my 8th year living in Dubai. I love living in Dubai and enjoying the lovely weather and I love spending my free time walking along the beach and swimming. During my time in Dubai I have rescued three street cats, whom I adore. In my holiday’s I love travelling and experience new cultures – so far I have visited 36 countries and I cannot wait to travel to more!
I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2015 with a PGCE in primary education. Prior to this I completed an integrated masters in History (also with the University of Manchester). This will be my 9th year in teaching, I began my career teaching in an inner city school in Manchester before relocating to Dubai in 2017. During my time in Dubai I have worked for schools within the Gems Education Group, where I have been in various leadership positions across KS1 and KS2. I love teaching in a creative and innovative manner and take pride in ensuring that all my children are supported and challenged to meet their personalised needs. I am very much looking forward to joining the Safa family this year and to working successfully with you and your children.
