I am from Bournemouth in the South of England and have lived in Dubai for 8 years with my daughter who is currently in FS1 at Safa.
I have a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology and Law from the University of Plymouth, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Primary Education and Qualified Teacher Status.
The best thing about my job is seeing children thrive in their independent learning and witnessing ‘Eureka’ moments, where children show great happiness and excitement when learning.
I am passionate about engaging activities that motivate children to develop a lifelong love of learning, particularly with early reading and writing. I ensure that I know each and every child in my class and tailor the curriculum to their individual needs.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, doing home crafts and spending time with my family and friends, experiencing new countries and travelling.
My teaching experience spans over 11 years across the Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I have worked in prestigious Private schools in both the UK and UAE.
