Kloe Kelleher
Year 2 Teacher
I am so excited to begin our fun-filled learning journey together. This will be my eighth year living and teaching in Dubai and I feel very grateful to be here and be a part of the Safa family.
About Me
Whilst living here I have had the opportunity to travel to a range of countries, experience new cultures and learn more about the world. One of my most memorable trips was a visit to Zanzibar where I volunteered at a newly opened school. The experience was very inspiring and it was a privilege to be a part of. I enjoy travelling home to the Midlands in England to spend time outdoors with my family and friends. At home in Dubai, I love to try new food and spend time with my husband, my baby daughter Indi and my rescued French Bulldog Reggie. I also enjoy reading, yoga and being creative!
My Experience
I studied Primary Education at Leeds Beckett University and graduated in 2014. After graduating, I taught FS2 and Year 1 at a primary school in the Midlands in England. This is my sixth year at SCS and the previous two years I spent teaching at a GEMS school in Dubai. As a teacher, I believe in creating a safe and positive learning environment for the children in my care so that they feel confident to share their wonderful thoughts and ideas. I enjoy planning and delivering engaging, fun and memorable lessons and having a child centred and creative approach to the curriculum.
