As a Nurse we have the opportunity to heal the heart, mind, soul and body of our patients. They may forget your name but they will never forget how you made them feel. I am your nurse, calm, compassionate and very welcoming with a genuine love of helping others.
I am a registered nurse with 18 years of nursing experience, having had the privilege of working in different clinical areas. I completed my Bachelor Of Science in Nursing at Butuan Doctors’ College, Butuan City, Philippines in 2004.
I have two children in year 7 and in University who are also in Dubai. We moved here for the past 16 years. I also owned a pet dog male chihuahua and a cat female Scottish fold. They are my favorites and I love them so much.
As a family, we joyfully served the household of God, we love to go to church every Saturday, and we also enjoy watching movies on a big screen. I like meeting new friends and most of all I like to make Filipino desserts.
I started my journey as a bedside Nurse on the Medical-Surgical ward in a Tertiary Hospital right after I got my License as Registered Nurse in 2004. I was employed there for 4 years. Since leaving the Philippines in 2008 and moved to Dubai with cultural differences and traditions have impacted my daily life and work experience. From bedside nurse to an Aesthetic Nurse. I’m very passionate and fascinated with the medical field in all aspect. I strive for excellence, integrity and love interacting with all people. My long term goal would be to assist with children and that was the time schools have opened up a door for me and worked as a School Nurse. I have gained a wide range of skills that have encouraged me to pursue my passion for working in schools and delivering quality health education to students, teaching staff and families, supporting children with chronic conditions such as diabetes and asthma, and provided first aid care, responding immediately to emergencies, treating injuries and illnesses. I am grateful for the opportunity and I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact on their lives. I am excited to be the new school nurse at Safa Community school this year and the years to come.
