I am originally from Devon in the UK, however I was born in Hong Kong. When I was growing up I also spent several years in France, New Zealand and Turkey. I have lived in the UAE since 2005 with my husband, two children and our fluffy dogs George and Henry. We feel very fortunate to live in such a multi-cultural City and enjoy exploring all that this beautiful country has to offer.
I am very excited to welcome your child and family into FS1ML and I look forward to a wonderful year filled with fun, adventure and discovery!
I graduated from the University of Sunderland where I was awarded a PGCE, specialising in Early Years Teaching. I also have a BSc in Human Geography and Town Planning from Cardiff University. I have been working within the Early Years at Safa Community School since 2018. As both a teacher and parent, I have found the caring family culture within the School to be very special. Within the classroom I have a fun, creative approach to teaching, where my students are encouraged to be independent thinkers and their interests and needs are valued and supported. I also like to weave in a little magic wherever possible to ignite their curiosity and imaginations.
