My name is Natalie Lomas and I’m excited and proud to be going into my fourth year at Safa Community School. I love being part of the Safa family and I look forward to the year ahead.
I was born and brought up in a small town in the North of England called Blackpool. I moved from England to Dubai in 2017 and feel very lucky to call Dubai my home. At home in Dubai, I love to spend time with my husband and my son. We like to go swimming and visit all the amazing restaurants that Dubai has to offer. Whilst living here I have had the opportunity to travel to a number of different countries. One of my most memorable trips was to the Maldives, where I was able to snorkel exploring the beautiful marine life that the Maldives had to offer. I also enjoy travelling back to the North west of England to spend quality time with my friends and family.
I studied Physical Education and Sport at Liverpool John Moores University and graduated in 2009. I spent the first 8 years of my teaching career at a Secondary School in Manchester in England. This is my fourth year teaching at Safa and the previous two years I spent teaching PE and Swimming at a Gems School In Dubai. I have a passion for teaching all ages in both PE and Swimming and love taking my Extra Curricular teams to fixtures so we can compete against other schools in a number of different sports.
