My interests include travelling to different countries, experiencing new cultures and trying new foods. I also enjoy lots of outdoor activities with my family including camping and going to the beach. At home, I love spending time with my dog Chilli.
I love exposing children to music in the Early Years as it builds confidence, creativity, language and physical skills. Music truly is a universal language and I love watching how children explore, express themselves and perform in lessons and on stage.
I have enjoyed over 15 years of classroom experience within schools in London and Dubai. My career has led me to specialise in lower school and Early Years teaching including roles as Music Teacher, Year 1 Leader and Head of Digital Learning. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Creative Arts team at SCS and putting on productions with the FS children.
Specialising in using music to develop children’s skills in various areas including social- emotional, motor, language and literacy. As a Foundation Stage practitioner, I use the Letters and Sounds Curriculum, Write Dance, percussion instruments and a range of songs to engage and challenge children in music lessons.
