I would like to welcome you all to FS2. I am proud to be part of the Safa Family and very much enjoy being a part of a child’s learning journey, where we are active learners, take risks and most of all have lots of fun!
I am from a small town in the North West of England, called Burnley. Prior to moving to Dubai, I taught in England and Egypt. A passion of mine is sports and being active, I gained a love of gymnastics as a child and am now a gymnastics coach. When I am not at school I like exploring the UAE and doing lots of activities, such as paddle boarding, hiking and yoga. I also enjoy the opportunities to travel to different countries and experience other cultures.
I graduated from Chichester University, where I was awarded my Postgraduate Certificate of Education. I have also obtained a Bachelors of Honours Degree from Liverpool Hope University in Leisure and Sports Development. I have been teaching in the foundation stage since 2013 and am very excited to continue teaching in FS2, at Safa Community School. I am the FS Literacy Coordinator, which is a subject I am very passionate about teaching. I am a lifelong learner and strive to create a high-quality, adaptable learning environment, where all children feel secure and happy.
