Hello everyone, I am so excited to welcome your children to our SCS family and FS2RM. I look forward to working with the children this term and supporting their transition into FS2 together. I moved to Dubai in 2005 and it has been my second home ever since. When I am not teaching, I like to write, paint, practice yoga, play with my cat Coco and explore new adventures in Dubai with my husband and daughter. I am also extremely proud to have written and published two children’s books, “Being Me” and “With Love, Saige”. This is going to be a great year filled with lots of fun learning and I look forward to starting this adventure with you!
Having made the decision to change my career from Law, with a Bachelor of Laws degree to Teaching, due to my love for children, I soon received my Cache level 3 Diploma in Early Years. I then proceeded to achieving my iPGCE for Primary Teaching from the University of East London. Since 2009 I have worked as an early years educator in FS1 and FS2 in Dubai. Prior to joining Safa Community School, I worked at a Nursery for four years and then Dubai English Speaking School (DESS) in the Foundation Stage for five years. This is my sixth year at SCS and I cannot wait to meet my new FS2 class. In my classroom, we truly become a family. Teaching is my passion and we embark on this wonderful journey together.
