Hello, my name is Robyn Barnes and I am from Perth, Scotland. This will be my fifth year living and working in Dubai and I am so excited to join the SCS team!
I am a passionate teacher and I place a high importance on developing positive relationships with my students. I aspire to create memorable lessons and making learning fun! A little about me, I am quite adventurous in that I love to ski and wake surf! I also love relaxing with a book and a cup of tea!
I have completed a BA in Child and Youth Studies before going on to complete my PDGE in Primary Education at the University Of Dundee in Perth, Scotland. Prior to this, I worked in an EYFS setting for three years. In between my studies, I have spent three years working at a children’s summer camp in the USA. I have also worked for ski companies supporting young groups of skiers! This was perfect place to grown and develop my skills over the years.
