Hello, I am Ms Stewart from the History and Politics department.
Hello, I am Ms Stewart from the History and Politics department. I am originally from Scotland. I graduated from Stirling University in 2013 with a degree in History, Politics and Professional Education. I have been teaching for 8 years in Scotland and the Middle East. I have been in Dubai for 5 years and very much think of it as home! In my spare time I enjoy travelling, going to the gym and enjoying the sunshine. I love to learn new things and keep up to date with current affairs. I am looking forward to another jam packed and fun filled year at SCS!
At the start of my teaching career I taught for Scotland for 3 years. I then taught in Cairo, Egypt for a year before moving to Dubai. In 2017 I got a job in an outstanding school in Dubai and introduced A level Politics to the curriculum. I led that department for 4 years alongside teaching History to KS3 and KS4. I then joined the Safa family in 2020. I am excited for the Politics department to go in size next year. I am also proud to be part of the History department and to teach KS3 and GCSE History.
