Hello everyone! My name is Sophie Prichard and I have been with Safa family since 2022. I’ve been teaching for over 10 years and I have been proud to call Dubai my second home since 2019. I can’t wait to welcome you to Year 1 in September. We are going to have a fantastic and fun year of learning!
I am from Bristol in the South West of England and a motivated and energetic teacher. My aim is to inspire and support every child through rich learning experiences. I understand that each learning journey looks different and these needs should be catered for through creativity and collaborative working. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling the world and spending time with my family back home. I love the beach, coffee, keeping active and exploring new places with my friends.
I graduated from the University of Brighton with a degree in Primary Education. Since graduating, I have proudly worked in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, in a diverse range of schools in Brighton, London, Bristol and most recently Dubai. Before studying for my degree, it was always my ambition to work with children. To further my experience before university, I volunteered in a variety of educational settings, including charity funded schools in South Africa and Kenya. My journey in Dubai has been incredible and I have had the pleasure of working alongside people from many countries and cultures. I am very much looking forward to meeting the children and families of SCS.
