Firstly, I would like to say how excited I am to welcome your child into Year 6 in the new academic year! Originally from Milton Keynes in England, I graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2015 where I studied a BA Hons degree in Education. I then studied for my PGCE at Oxford Brookes University. I have been living in Dubai since 2019 and love the opportunities Dubai has to offer. I am looking forward to another year at lovely Safa!
I enjoy staying active outside of school, taking part in lots of activities such as boxing classes. I have a huge love for animals (especially dogs) and like to volunteer at the Stray Dog Centre in UAQ when I can. I also love to explore new places and broaden my knowledge of different cultures around the world.
It has been a lifelong aspiration of mine to become a teacher; a job that enables me to inspire children every day and embed a love of learning. I have had the privilege of teaching for eight years and I love the inquisitive buzz from the children; there is certainly never a dull moment! In my classroom, I believe all children should have the opportunity to be curious, expressive, collaborative, but most of all, a place where their happiness is nurtured. I cannot wait to welcome my new students, and I am certain they will have a great experience in Year 6!
