Hola, my name is Valentín García Campos, and I am a Spanish and French Primary Teacher at SCS. I am from a coastal town called Blanes, located in Catalunya, a beautiful region in the northeast of Spain.
Born and raised in Spain, I have enjoyed living, working and volunteering in different countries across Europe. This has equipped me with a curiosity for other languages and cultures and has ultimately enriched my overall professional and personal journey. I really enjoy discovering new places and explore how to capture them with my camera. Aside from photography, I also love cinema, nature, swimming in the sea and spending time with friends and family.
Prior to obtaining my teaching qualification at Manchester Metropolitan University, I earned a BA (Hons) degree in Psychology from the University of Girona. My diverse training in social mediation, photography and graphic design reflects a commitment to comprehensive development and creative approach to pedagogy. Living in various countries over two decades has strengthened my appreciation for language acquisition, which is central to my teaching philosophy. Since 2019 I have been teaching Spanish and French in the UK, creating adapted learning materials and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and staff has contributed to students’ progress and my professional growth. I am excited to bring this experience and passion to the Safa Community School Primary MFL team, where I look forward to inspiring young learners.
