Servus, my name is Veronika Jovanova and I teach German at SCS.
I come from a beautiful country in South-East Europe called Macedonia. At the State University of Shtip, I studied German Language and Literature, and later international business and languages at the American University of Skopje. I also hold a teaching certificate from the Goethe Institute in Munich, with focus on teaching German as a foreign and second language. I am multilingual and speak five languages fluently.
I have twelve years of experience working as a certified court interpreter and teaching German to students all ages and ethnicities. After moving to Dubai in 2018, I started working as a substitute teacher and assistant to the Head of Secondary at the German International School Dubai. Additionally, I have a lot of experience working with kids that have learning challenges. In my free time, I like to read, cook, play sports, and spend time with my cat, Merope.
