Hi I am Vijay Degun, Head of Business and Economics. I am from Leeds, England. I graduated from Leeds Business School with a BA Honours in Business Studies, and then completed my PGCE in Business Education from Sheffield Hallam University.
I am a Dad of two amazing boys, who take up most of my spare time. I was born and raised in Leeds, but have also lived in Manly, Australia. Together with my wife and eldest son, we moved to Dubai in September 2018, and have not looked back since. Outside of school, my main interests are going to the gym, cooking, following Leeds United and beach days with my family.
Over 8 years’ experience in the UK teaching Business and Economics at both GCSE and A Level. In addition, I have pastoral experience, being a designated child-safeguarding officer as Head of Year. I arrived in Dubai in 2018 and have taught International GCSE Business and Economics, BTEC Business and International Baccalaureate Business Management as well as International A Level Business.
