Hello, I am a teacher from the United Kingdom and have been teaching internationally since 2012.
I was previously living and teaching in Melbourne, Australia before I moved to Dubai in 2017. I have loved all the different cultures and experiences that I have been a part of from living in these two very different cities. I enjoy travelling; my most memorable holiday being my surprise honeymoon from my husband – 6 countries in 6 weeks! My hobbies include reading, baking, swimming and going hiking. I love animals and have adopted two cats who we brought over from Australia and one dog from Dubai.
I studied Psychology at the University of the West of England, Bristol and then went onto complete my Post Graduate Certificate of Education at a university in Melbourne, Australia. Due to my first degree, I have a great interest in the human mind and really work hard at building strong positive relationships with my students through a safe and welcoming environment. My favourite subject is English and I love to read; I enjoy sharing books with my students and hearing wonderful creative ideas coming from their exposure to literature.
