I am from Aberdeen in Scotland, UK. I graduated from the University of Aberdeen, where I was awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education.
When I am not in the classroom you can find me exploring the outdoors and trying new activities. I have always enjoyed water sports and have grown fond of hiking since living here in the UAE. I love cooking and trying out new recipes to enjoy with family and friends.
I am very much looking forward to a year of new adventures, discoveries and of course lots of fun together. Let’s make this an incredible year!
I am thrilled to be starting my sixth year teaching in FS2 and my third year working at Safa Community School. My love for teaching brought me to Dubai in 2016 and prior to this I taught a composite Year 3 and Year 4 class in Scotland. This academic year, I am excited to continue my role as FS2 Science Coordinator, a subject which I feel very passionate about teaching. I believe in making education fun and exciting for children to become successful learners, confident individuals, effective contributors and responsible citizens. I cannot wait to begin our new learning journey together in FS2CM.
