About Me
Growing up loving English, I am, of course, an avid reader. Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings are my two favourite books series but I love pretty much any fantasy fiction! I love living in Dubai and being able to travel and meet lots of new people. Yoga and running are my main hobbies but I’ve recently tried golf and am enjoying that (even though I’m terrible). I have three brothers so my house was pretty lively in Scotland, where I grew up. Now I have 5 niece and nephews too so going home for Christmas is even more chaotic!
My Experience
I studied a four-year English Literature and Education degree at the University of Stirling in Scotland. I then taught in The Highlands for three years in a (very!) rural secondary school before moving to the UAE three years ago. I have taught at WSO for my time in Dubai so far and am now really excited to start my new chapter at Safa!
