I am from Dundee in Scotland, UK. I have been teaching the Early Years since 2011 and I joined Safa Community School in 2016. I have always been creative and I was inspired to teach after my time at Art College. I am a motivated, imaginative teacher and have a passion for all things creative and I truly believe that “Every child is an artist”. I love to sprinkle a little magic to spark my children’s imagination and creativity. I strive to create a positive and caring learning environment where all children are happy to explore, discover and wonder.
I enjoy meeting people from all over the world as well as travelling to lots of amazing countries. I love visiting my sister in Sydney Australia. I enjoy reading, travelling and socialising with my friends and family. I love art, design and fashion and visiting Art Galleries. Brush pen calligraphy has become my hobby too.
I graduated from the University of Dundee, where I was awarded a PGDE in Primary Education. I have also obtained a Bachelors of Design from Duncan of Jordanstone Art College, where I specialised in textile design. Prior to moving to Dubai in 2016, I taught FS2 to Year 2 in Scotland for six years at two different primary schools. I have had many fantastic years teaching FS2 at SCS and this year, I am delighted to be teaching FS Art.
