I have taught in SCS since it opened in 2014 and I have been very fortunate to watch it flourish and grow into the school that it is today. l began my teaching career in Safa as a Year 3 and Year 4 Class teacher/Team Leader before joining the Art Department. I thoroughly enjoy teaching children across the Key Stages and providing them with opportunities to explore all areas of Art.
My name is Jo lewis and I am from the very beautiful Gwyddon valley in South Wales. In my spare time, I like to do photography, edit photos and run. During the holidays, I love to travel and take creative photos that capture the essence of the places I have visited.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Education Honours degree from a University in Wales. I have over twenty years of teaching experience and have worked in outstanding schools in Wales, Italy and Holland. Before moving to Dubai, I also had the opportunity to work as a personal teacher for a French Family and travelled, lived and taught in some amazing locations around the World. My aim as an Art teacher is to inspire children to be creative, expressive and to develop their own individual Artist style.
