My name is Kranti Rebello and I am from Mumbai, India. I have been a Registered DHA School Nurse for the past 19 years.
I’ve lived in Dubai for almost 19 years with my husband. We have two grown sons, currently attending university. In our free time, we love to go camping, beach and travel to new places. I am an active member of the Emirates Nursing Association of UAE and voluntarily teach the bible to children in the church community.
Since becoming a nurse 28 years ago, most of my nursing career has been in the Middle East. I am so honored to be a part of such a wonderful and caring community. It is my goal here at SCS to keep our children healthy, safe, in school, and ready to learn.
I began my nursing career after graduating from Maharashtra Nursing College, in the operating room, NICU, and pediatric wards. I also hold a master in pediatrics and have completed a PGC in clinical nutritionist from GMC University and a PGDip in mental health nursing from IHM, Australia University.
Many people think school nurses only hand out medication, Band-Aids, and ice packs, but the role goes far beyond that. While we aim to follow a routine, it’s often adjusted based on the children’s needs.
