Leanne Fridd

I have just completed my 6th year at SCS, and my eighth year in Dubai. Prior to that, I have experience working in both Primary and Secondary Schools, holding a range of different leadership roles. I studied at the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. I have been awarded my National Professional Qualification for Headship from the Centre for Educational Leadership (UCL).

 

Education is my passion, where I enjoy learning about effective educational systems around the world. A highlight for me was being able to tour around Finland, learning from educators and seeing the positive impact they are having on their students. I have enjoyed watching SCS grow, both in the number of students and facilities, but most importantly to see the board and balance curriculum which is now on offer. Staff and student wellbeing will always remain a priority for me as a leader, ensuring that they are provided with every opportunity whilst being a part of the Safa Family.
